Stretford Pageant
We had a plant stall at the pageant and inaugurated our new gazebo bought from some of the proceeds from the Longford Park Festival. Our plants did not want for rain as the rainy day provided plenty. Our rhubarb proved to be a real draw and, although business was fairly slow, the rain did not deter punters completely and we managed to sell most of our offerings – all donated by generous plot-holders. Thanks to all those who looked after our stall and kept in good spirits despite the boggy conditions.
