We held another successful Open Day today.  Old Trafford Amateur Gardeners’ Society has been organising Open Days during National Allotment Week for a number of years and this year was no exception.

We had a new attraction, a mobile Cob Oven, hired from Stretford Pizza Ovens (proprietors of which have an allotment on our site). Graham and Catherine hired the oven to us so we could provide delicious fresh pizzas made from ingredients grown on our site. The pizzas were delicious.

Huge thanks to all who organised the event and helped out on the day.

Our next event will be Apple Day on Saturday September 24th – from 12 – 3 p.m.
